Jacobs Law is seeking an Estate Planning and Corporate Attorney to assist with drafting and management of Estate Planning, Estate Administration, and Business Law cases for high-net-worth individuals and business owners.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Draft and review documents related to mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, entity formation, contracts, and compliance.
  2. Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  3. Manage estate administration and probate proceedings with attention to detail and empathy for our clients' needs.
  4. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  5. Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication.

Qualifications

  1. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  2. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
  3. Excellent technology skills (Mac proficiency preferred).
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  6. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
  7. A background in corporate law with a desire to gain experience in estate planning.
  8. Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate law; experience in estate planning is a plus but not required.
