Salary : Up to $120,000 annually

Job Description :

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Superintendent to join their team in Palm Beach, Florida. As a leader in the construction of large-scale multi-family residential projects, the company is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of successfully overseeing multi-family construction projects, along with a strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for multi-family residential projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule requirements.
  • Read and interpret construction documents and blueprints to direct project activities.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation using construction management software such as Procore.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing according to plan and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and owners.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize disruptions and delays.

Qualifications:

Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent, specifically in multi-family residential construction.

Skills :

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and blueprints.
  • Knowledgeable in building codes, safety regulations, and permit requirements.
  • Expertise in all phases of wood framing and construction techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing large teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors, resolve conflicts, and handle stress effectively.
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of safety on-site.
  • Physically capable of navigating construction sites and working in various weather conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, costs, and scheduling.
  • Proficiency with construction management software, such as Procore.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • OSHA 30-hour certification (or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
