Our partner, Mid-City Corporation, is constantly striving to provide exceptional customer service while tackling the most challenging of problems for their clients. As an underground utilities Project Manager, you will work on municipal underground infrastructure projects, including water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer. They are looking for a driven, client-focused project manager to grow with their team.

Job Responsibilities

• Client management
• Project bidding including material takeoffs and quote preparation
• Pre-construction activities including preconstruction meetings, permitting, and submittal preparation
• Construction activities including staff and resource scheduling, progress meetings, cost tracking, and project closeout
• Coordination with customers, contractors, and subcontractors
• Maintain constant communication with field staff to ensure successful execution of projects

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in civil engineering or comparable experience
• 5+ Years Experience in design or construction of public infrastructure projects work on water main, sanitary sewer, or storm sewer
• Interest in working on small and large construction projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract language
• Ability to multi-task and regularly change focus to address most urgent needs
• High degree of confidentiality and professionalism
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Desired Skills

• Proficient in AutoDesk Suite
• Wisconsin Professional Engineer license
