The Director HCP Marketing is a key member of the marketing team focused on helping to grow Zoryve, Arcutis’s flagship topical cream, with an anticipated future indication in Atopic Dermatitis, pending FDA approval. This role will be focused on leading execution of the strategic and tactical plan for HCP promotion and ensuring synergy and consistency with team members across all marketing initiatives. This position reports into the Executive Director Marketing and works in close collaboration with commercial (e.g., Sales, Market Access, Commercial Operations) and non-commercial (e.g., Medical, Legal, Regulatory) business partners.


Core Job Responsibilities

  1. Support the development and implementation of the brand strategic and tactical plan with a focus on Atopic Dermatitis market, working in close collaboration with other marketing and cross-functional team members to bring together a single, cross-indication brand plan.
  2. Lead development and implementation of personal promotional materials from concept through execution, including core visual aids, leave-behind and other resources leveraged by sales representatives.
  3. Lead development and implementation of field communications and/or pull through plans for key initiatives.
  4. Provide strategic input on sales meetings and launch meeting objectives and lead the development and execution of sales meeting content as needed to ensure sales representatives can successfully implement sales resources with customers.
  5. Author the plan and lead the execution of HCP advisory boards to ensure appropriately and timely insights are gathered to help shape strategic and tactical planning.
  6. Set the speaker bureau strategy for atopic dermatitis and execute the plan as needed to ensure content is ready and speakers are trained prior to launch.
  7. Make recommendations to strengthen market approach, messaging and/or tools by leveraging feedback across internal and external stakeholders and quantitative key performance metrics.
  8. Inform atopic dermatitis launch KPI and performance tracking plan via both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
  9. Partner with key stakeholders to facilitate and lead the MLR review process; work with MLR manager to ensure alignment with SOP, efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Successfully own and manage HCP marketing budget.
  11. Manage agency of record relationship, and other vendors as needed, by setting clear agency priorities, ensuring flawless execution of tactics, routinely providing feedback to optimize relationship, and proactively managing agency budgets.
  12. Demonstrate a commitment to cross-functional engagement and input to ensure strategic alignment across commercial and medical organizations.

Experience

Job Requirements:

  1. BS or BA degree required.
  2. 10+ years of experience in brand marketing within pharmaceutical, biotech, device, or healthcare industry; prior sales experience is a plus.
  3. Effective people management experience or management readiness with proven leadership agility.
  4. Dermatology experience.
  5. Launch experience.
  6. Experience working on a product with multiple indications (portfolio prioritization) a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  1. Demonstrated ability to lead with and without authority and work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and external 3rd party partners.
  2. Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills with an ability to bring cross-functional stakeholders together to execute a clear objective.
  3. Demonstrated HCP marketing experience and performance across all marketing channels, with clear examples of execution across personal promotional, sales meetings, speaker bureaus, and advisory boards.
  4. Clearly able to articulate strategies and plans via the creation of brand plan documents.
  5. Strong written communication and oral presentation skills.
  6. Forward thinking with a solutions-oriented mindset with a track record of proactively identifying risks and bringing forward resolutions or a mitigation plan.
  7. Ability to execute against multiple projects and perform in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  8. Agency management experience.
  9. Budget-management skills and ability to provide timely, accurate reporting.
