APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Architecture school with B.Arch and/ or M.Arch.
  • 8-12 years of professional experience in the US after completion of school.
  • Licensure is a strong plus, but not required.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Joining a team as a design moves out of its earlier Approvals and Schematic phases, the Project Architect will make the transition into Design Development and phases beyond. The candidate will work closely alongside a Lead Designer and Project Manager to help lead a small team through the more technical documentation phases. Once the project is with through documentation, the candidate may be tasked to oversee construction. Knowledgebase in mid to large-scale multifamily projects combined with a strong technical background in Type III and V construction is highly recommended.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Bluebeam.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the preparation of Permit and Construction Documents within Revit.
  • Strong technical background in multifamily wood-frame construction and detailing.
  • Sustainability-focused with proficient knowledge of building science as it relates to the exterior envelope.
  • Working knowledge of building systems, local building and zoning codes, & regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in small teams.
  • Highly motivated, flexible in the face of dynamic workflow, and self-starting
