About this opportunity:

We are seeking a Corporate Investigator to join Ericsson's Corporate and Government Investigations (CGI) group, focusing on investigations in North and South America. This role is essential for addressing breaches of Ericsson's Code of Business Ethics and supporting the company's ethics and compliance program while fostering trust with stakeholders, including government authorities.

What you will do:

  • Conduct internal investigations on a variety of topics, including allegations of fraud, corruption, regulatory breaches, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, conflicts of interest as well as other potential violations of Ericsson's Code of Business Ethics.
  • Develop scope and investigation strategy into high complexity investigations by gathering data and employing subject matter experts to understand the facts.
  • Prepare an investigation plan to spot issues, determine the scope, as well as identify and employ needed resources.
  • Conduct investigations in a forensically sound, robust, fair and timely manner, in compliance with laws including data privacy laws.
  • Collect and review evidence, and conduct financial, document, and other forensic reviews.
  • Conduct witness interviews.
  • Draft clear, concise, well-written reports summarizing investigation findings.
  • Present investigation findings to stakeholders in the company including remediation committees.
  • Assist in the development of investigations processes and policies, and coordinate with key functions such as the Compliance Office, Internal Audit, Security, the People Function, and Ericsson business units.
  • Lead multiple investigations at once in a fast-paced environment with high standards.
  • Act with integrity, objectivity and fairness.

The skills you bring:

  • 8+ years' experience in investigations or related areas.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other relevant degrees.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with using eDiscovery software including RelativityOne.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and manage complex projects as well as lead multiple projects at one time.
  • Exhibited proficiency in thinking strategically regarding scoping, handling, and managing matters.
  • Fluency in English. Additional language skills, particularly Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
  • Background working for a government agency.
  • Experience at a multi-national company or working with multi-national clients.
  • Experience working on sophisticated financial investigations, such as anti-corruption and accounting fraud.
  • Relevant professional certifications include Certified Fraud Examiner, Professional Certified Investigator, Certified Protection Professional, or similar credentials.

Your Pay:

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

Washington, DC: $124,100.00-155,100.00

Plano, Texas: $114,900.00 - $143,600.00

STV: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Financial Security:

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson's 401(k) plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and up to a 4% company match, leading to a maximum company contribution of 7% annually. Employees will also receive company paid basic life and accidental death and dismemberment coverage and paid company short-term and long-term disability benefits. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.

Your Time:

Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided up to 40 days of paid time off per year, including 15 days of accrued annual vacation, 3 personal days, 11 paid holidays, 10 sick days, and 1 volunteer day. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Those with additional vacation time at the end of the year may sell one week of vacation, equal to a week of pay. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of maternity/medical leave, 6 weeks of paternity or adoption leave at 100% of pay, and medical leave at 100% or 66 2/3% of pay, based on length of service.
