Finishing Technician

Aegis is seeking a contractor (Temporary employee) to join our clients organization in Chicago (60609) This Finishing Technician will be working on an emboss machine. The ideal candidate has the following skills:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience working with machines
• Experience working on an emboss machine
• Mechanical aptitude- weather this is working in a manufacturing plant on other types of machines, someone who likes building cars, or just likes to tinker with things. This will help if this person has down time or machine breaks down in terms of helping fix or diagnose issues.
• Spray coating experience
• Experience using excel- basic stuff, not like pivot tables but, able to use formulas and work off of existing formulas
• Someone with good communication skills- able to speak with engineering, scientists, and BD leads. Also, not afraid to speak up as needed to give the team feedback and information on how things are working.
• Good attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology or a related science field.
• Experience in the following industries: leather finishing, synthetic leather finishing, car finishing.
