Job Description
The Tax Team Lead will be responsible for providing direction, instruction and guidance to the Tax Specialist. This is an accounting support position in a fast paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America. Candidates for this position must meet Associa’s credit requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Tax Supervisor with Interviews to fill positions for the Tax Department.
  • Assure the Tax Specialists receive proper training and assist in all aspects of Association processes.
  • Know the tasks that are required of the Tax Specialists.
  • Confirm accuracy of all processes and procedures.
  • Assist in developing departmental procedures.
  • Occasional work on weekends may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge and Skills :
  • Able to manage multiple employees.
  • Knowledge of tax processing.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong judgment and analytical skills.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Complete Control for Communities (C3) software, preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of, or experience in, the Community Association Management Industry, preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in an Accounting Shared Services Center environment, preferred but not required.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 3 years of experience in tax.
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
