SOC Analyst (Tier 2) - Active Secret Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a qualified Tier II SOC Analyst to join a federal program based out of Leesburg, VA, on a full-time basis (Shift: 7 a.m.–7 p.m., 12 hr shifts, Sun–Wed (4 days on, 3 days off), alternating weeks Sunday–Tues (3 days on, 4 days off). This position requires an ACTIVE SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities of the Tier II SOC Analyst:

1. Initial assessment of the scope of the attack and affected systems
2. Data collection for further analysis
3. Initial response when a cyber incident is identified
4. Dedicated monitoring and analysis of cyber security events by use of SOC tools

Qualifications of the Tier II SOC Analyst:

1. 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity SOC related roles (hands on)
2. Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
3. Experience with Splunk, Jira, and Service Now
4. Bachelor's degree in related field
5. Must have ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

Compensation for the Tier II SOC Analyst:

Salary: $105,000–125,000/year flexible based on experience
