Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Director collaborates closely with cross-functional leaders, vendors and employees at all levels. Provides strategic direction and supervision to Black and Green Belts.
We provide a holistic approach to Lean Six Sigma for ongoing performance improvement in 7 customer-facing Value Streams. Each Value Stream is supported by Belts that evaluate, document, design, manage and monitor the end-to-end business processes and underlying systems through the continuous application of Lean principles. Plays a leading role in improving performance and the implementation of performance metrics/KPIs to ensure improvements deliver expected business results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 8+ years of related work experience beyond degree within Business Process Management (BPM), Program Management, Operations, etc.
- Mastery over all Six Sigma concepts and tools including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, A3, Kanban boards, Root Cause Analysis, Control Plans etc.
- Proven leadership ability across large cross functional teams required
- Continuous improvement and implementation experience required
- Health Plan/Payer experience required
- Supervisory/management experience required
- Hands-on change management experience required
Required License/Certification:
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt required
Skills and Abilities:
- Customer focused program, project, and process management experience
- Proven ability to formulate content and present clearly both internally and externally
- Experience creating, building and leading cross functional teams from conception through implementation
- Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Teams, iGrafx (mapping software), Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint and/or Teams
The full salary range for this position is $124,600 - $213,600. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
