A prestigious CPA firm in Boston is actively looking for a Tax Manager to lead our tax department, specializing in partnerships and high-net-worth individual (HNWI) clients. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, particularly for partnerships and HNWIs.
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to our clients, helping them navigate various tax implications with expert advice.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, ensuring high standards of practice and professional growth.
- Collaborate with partners and other managers to integrate tax strategies with broader financial considerations for clients.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and keep abreast of current tax practices and changes in the law.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field; CPA certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax roles with a significant focus on partnership filings and HNWI clientele.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in tax software such as Profx Tax, CCH, Checkpoint, XCM, and Filecenter.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage client and team relationships.
