Job Requirements / Description

The primary responsibility is to assist in converting challenges into opportunities in the areas of IP routing protocols, signaling protocols network management, third generation mobile networking, broadband access, advanced network and professional services and next-generations operations support systems. This is accomplished by the execution of Trials, Demos and PoC (Proof of Concept). Deep technical knowledge and expertise in account management and pre-sales will draw heavily to secure new sales opportunities to deliver on complex technical projects.


  • Works independently and effectively in his / her area of New Product Introduction (define and run Product or Solution Demos, Lab Trials, Field Trials, support formal Homologations or Type Approvals by customer on our products or solutions, provides technical support during pilot introduction of new products in customer networks) for pre-sales activities or deployment projects by delivering his / her outcomes with the expected quality, timely and according to estimated cost/duration.
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges to improve New Product Introduction related processes and services.
  • Has in-depth organizational and relevant market knowledge and has understanding of how relevant areas can be integrated to achieve objectives.
  • Contributes to strategic decisions within professional area.
  • Solve complex problems through sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment.
  • Contributes to development of concepts to determine professional direction of own organizational unit.
  • Acts as a role model for staff / work team / taskforces, often the most senior specialist in the team, who serves as best practice professional within own organizational unit and is recognized as an expert within the same professional area in the business.

Knowledge & Experience
Management Experience / Achieved well-advanced skills of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and organizational practice or expertise. Recognized expert in their field (depth & breadth). Requires 5-8 years extensive hands on experience in IP/MPLS and/or Bachelors or Master in Electrical, Computer, Network Engineers or equivalent.


  • CCNA, NRS-1, or NRS-II preferred
  • Need outstanding inter-personal skills with a positive and can-do attitude
  • Customer facing skills, including able to participate in customer calls, and leading on-site customer visits
  • <25% Domestic and international travel required

Candidate should have advanced practical knowledge on:


  • Nokia IP Network equipment.
  • Routing and Switching including OSPF, ISIS and BGP
  • IP/MPLS Protocols including LDP, RSVP and Segment Routing
  • IP/MPLS Services (VLL, VPLS, VPRN, IP Tunnels)
  • IP Security and IPSec
  • Traffic analysis and DPI
  • Broadband and WiFi aggregation (BNG/BRAS/WLAN-GW)
  • Mobile Packet Core elements and functions, and 3GPP protocols
  • Quality of Service (QoS)
  • Multicast services and traffic delivery
  • IPv6
  • Experience using Test Equipment for IP and SONET/SDH/Legacy protocols
  • SDN and Network Management System Platforms
