Provide technical leadership for enterprise information technology including applications involving complex high-end, mission-critical, role-based computer programs requiring a high degree of security.
Plan and oversee the SDLC process, and support specific IT areas or systems. Coordinate technical aspects of work for the successful completion of a project and/or production. Prepare and utilize project plans for significant IT development, enhancement, and maintenance efforts.
Research, test, implement, and maintain applications and databases. Analyze and debug application/client server connectivity problems. Work on database backup and recovery, partitioning, indexing strategy, and DBA support. Perform performance tuning, database sizing, and monitor databases using scripts.
Communicate regularly with internal and external customers.
Requirements:
- B.S. degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive job-related experience (any title).
- Experience with PeopleSoft, FSCM, PeopleCode, SQR, DMS, Integration Broker.
Travel/relocation to various unanticipated locations within the U.S. possible.
