The Role:
Are you passionate about building and managing relationships with corporate and foundation partners to drive meaningful impact? We're looking for a dynamic Director of Account Relationship Development to manage high-value partnerships and help grow our revenue streams. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of corporate and foundation relationships, collaborating across teams, and leading project execution and stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Manage Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with key corporate and foundation partners, driving value and growth using our Corporate 8-Point Plan as a guide.
- Drive Revenue: Identify and secure new revenue opportunities, as well as contribute to renewals and upgrades with existing partners.
- Flawless Execution: Oversee deliverables, create budgets, and ensure smooth execution of contracts and projects. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring everything runs on time and on target.
- Stewardship and Reporting: Lead customized stewardship plans to deepen partnerships. Regularly track and report performance, ensuring satisfaction of all contracted deliverables.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure partners receive maximum value. Lead internal and external meetings, coordinating resources for success.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage the financial health of partnerships, resolving any issues that may arise and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Support Marketing: Assist in marketing activities, such as events and promotions, to align with partner objectives.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
- Proven Experience: 5-8 years in corporate or strategic account management, ideally with a focus on fundraising or partnerships in the nonprofit or for-profit sector. Experience working with cross-functional teams is a must.
- Relationship Builder: You have a talent for developing strong, meaningful relationships with partners, ensuring mutual value and long-term success.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, including executives.
- Financial and Project Management: Experience managing budgets, tracking deliverables, and handling complex projects from start to finish.
- Proactive Problem Solver: You can anticipate challenges and handle them quickly, keeping leadership and stakeholders informed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
