Amorino is looking for enthusiastic, hard-working and ambitious Shift Leaders to join Boston's first store, located on Newbury Street!

The ideal supervisor is motivated, outgoing and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day . They're the operational experts that keep each store running like clockwork. By managing a shift, running a team and making store operations decisions in cooperation with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, the Shift Leader will develop leadership skills for the future. The Shift Leader is also responsible for the overall look, feel and quality of the customer experience in the shop when the manager is not on site; this includes being accountable for the daily staffing and general administrative duties, as well as providing leadership in the area of customer service. The Shift Leader is a role model and coach for delivering high-quality service, while creating meaningful connections with customers and partners alike.

At Amorino, Shift Leaders are not required to have previous management experience; we are looking for talented, natural leaders who can move from our Counter Staff / Barista Staff to Shift Leader after only three months of training. This is an ideal position for candidates who are looking to gain management experience but have not yet had the opportunity to do so! Our operating hours are 11AM to 11PM, with closing shifts ending around midnight. Candidates must have flexible schedules and be able to work during our hours of operation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Top notch customer service skills
  • Clean and organized, and can make sure the store is as well
  • Follow and maintain Amorino's cash handling procedures, as well as handle accounting for store opening and closing
  • Ability to follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines with care
  • Ability to kindly and calmly handle staff and customer concerns
  • Great leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively between staff and management
  • Ability to train new team members
