Job Description

At LinkedIn, we trust each other to do our best work where it works best for us and our teams. This role offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together.

This role will be based in New York, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Chicago, Detroit, or Omaha.

As an Insights Program Manager supporting the Sales Solutions business, you will leverage one of the richest proprietary data sets in the world. You will work with a high-caliber, passionate team. You will lead high-impact projects and scale data-driven solutions that measure value for our customers, our sales teams, and our business.

This is a unique role at the intersection of Sales, Analytics, Product, and Engineering – you will be the key connection point between the LSS Insights team and Product and Engineering. You will become an expert on new product features and own the strategy for how we measure and demonstrate their value to customers. You will have the opportunity to act as a product owner: prototyping, developing, and assessing the success of your internal and customer-facing solutions at scale leveraging the latest in analytical methodologies including generative AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Address business challenges by leveraging LinkedIn’s unique data to improve and create innovative dashboards on our insights’ platform.
  • Leverage SQL/Presto to extract necessary data and build out subsequent visualizations in Tableau and internal front-end systems.
  • Leverage Python to develop innovative applications that leverage the power of Generative AI and enhance how our team delivers groundbreaking insights to our stakeholders.
  • Conceptualize and drive initiatives that help our clients make better decisions with data.
  • Create requirements and project plans for analytic programs and tools and re-prioritize based on impact and effort to complete.
  • Analyze results to generate business insights.
  • Be the voice of the Sales Solutions customer by establishing a close relationship with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing.
  • Become a customer-centric program manager, placing customer value at the center of all projects, analyses, and initiatives.
  • Build cross-functional consensus for operational improvements and partner effectively with other teams.
  • Evangelize the use of data in sales and act as a thought leader about the use of data in sales and marketing.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL.
  • 2+ years of experience with Python.
  • 2+ years of creating data visualizations and data storytelling to turn data into insights.
  • 2+ years of consulting or project/product/program management experience working cross-functionally and presenting to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience performing A/B testing and experimental design.
  • Previous experience working with Tableau and Microsoft PowerPoint for data visualization.
  • Possess business acumen and creative problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for scaling, making everything the team touches bigger and more impactful.
  • Embrace intellectual curiosity with a desire and ability to learn.
  • Previous experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs.
  • Capable of building a strong rapport with entry-level salesperson or engineer one moment and give a clear 30-second elevator pitch to a CEO the next.
  • Previous experience leading cross-functional partnerships involving analytics.
  • Practical business understanding with genuine passion for technology, big data, and/or artificial intelligence.
  • Capable of grasping the value LinkedIn creates for members and companies AND getting really excited thinking about the potential of its data to help solve business problems.
