Weekly Pay Range - $2126 To $2362

**Job Description:**
- Provide patient care, including vitals, assessment, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and needs.
- Utilize equipment such as the Epic Charting system and Pyxis Medication cabinets.
- Work in a 13-bed observation unit with a patient length of stay shorter than general medical units.
- Handle a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, with a Charge Nurse resource.
- Float to General Medicine Floors to cover any adult overflow as needed.
- Comply with the dress code: Any color scrubs, avoiding childish cartoon characters and microfleece material.
- Participate in unit/department-specific training and orientation, including a day of Epic Inpatient Nurse training followed by two 12-hour shifts with a preceptor.
- Adapt to a new unit actively hiring initial core staff, managing a variety of diagnoses ranging from minor traumas to pre-op surgeries and GI/GU issues.

- The unit has a high bed turnover rate, requiring clinicians to be adaptable and efficient.
- Orientation includes 12 non-billable hours. Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.
