What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Resident Service Coordinator, your day-to-day will involve providing administrative and clerical support for the Maintenance Department. Additionally, you will take service requests via telephone and ensure that they are responded to in a timely manner.
- Answers phones in the Maintenance Department.
- Takes maintenance requests from residents over the telephone and distributes to appropriate maintenance personnel in a timely manner. Collects completed requests ensuring they are signed off and filed accordingly.
- Routinely calls residents back to ensure that maintenance was completed to the resident’s satisfaction.
- Calls maintenance staff immediately for any maintenance emergencies during the normal work day.
- Signs keys in/out to contractors, checking identification prior to issuance.
- Orders and receives supplies. Assigns and matches corresponding purchase orders.
- Schedules or maintains schedules of work to be done in vacant/occupied units.
- Assists in processing of invoices.
- Prepares maintenance and service reports and maintains records.
- Strives to continuously meet or exceed resident satisfaction.
- Reports all discrepancies regarding requests (from residents or employees) to the Facilities Director.
- Attends various community recreational and social activities.
What You’ll Need To Thrive:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record along with auto insurance will be required when working between multiple sites that require driving throughout the day. If you do not possess a valid driver’s license, you will be required to sign an addendum agreeing not to drive any form of registered motorized vehicle while at work/on the clock.
- Computer literacy, and must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing in English for all work-related purposes
- Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Service team employees, with limited exceptions, are required to use their own smartphone to perform certain aspects of their job
Bonus Qualifications:
Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience
Pay Range: $19.59 - $23.35 / hour
