Daily Responsibilities
- Support connectivity for the operation and maintenance of the critical network environment.
Required: Years of Experience (min)
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of agency wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs).
Required: Degree/Certification
- B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or Engineering or
- Four years of related experience may be substituted for the education degree requirement established for this key personnel function.
- ITIL certifications specific to the position are preferred.
Required: Experience
- Experience assisting in the design and management of the WAN infrastructure and any processes related to the WAN.
- Experience providing Production Support of the Network, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution of client Networks.
- Experience supporting the dispatch of circuit and hardware vendors involved in the resolution process.
- Knowledge in various software systems and architectures, communications protocols, and network hardware devices.
