Pay rate: $60k+/DOE

Job Summary:


As a Branch Sales Manager, you will lead the branch team and be responsible for all elements of the branch business, including ownership of the branch P&L. Responsibilities include working with company leadership to increase sales, hire and develop personnel, improve operational efficiency, and manage day-to-day activities such as receiving, shipping, sourcing, and inventory management to ensure the success of the business. This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  1. Sales Strategy: Create and execute a sales plan in a local area to reach and exceed business goals.
  2. Sales Excellence: Demonstrate sales excellence daily.
  3. Team Leadership: Effectively lead and motivate your team.
  4. Customer Growth: Expand the existing customer base and identify growth strategies for new sales channels.
  5. Technology Utilization: Utilize CE's proprietary technology to grow sales and promote operational excellence.
  6. Training and Development: Develop and train team members to surpass personal ambitions.
  7. Accountability: Be accountable for all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  1. Prior experience in Customer Service.
  2. Prior leadership roles with profit and loss responsibility preferred.
  3. Experience in leading people in a retail environment.
  4. Demonstrated ability to rapidly grow sales in a retail environment.
  5. Experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships.
  6. Experience analyzing and using customer, market, and competitor data to make informed decisions and business planning.

Preferred Qualifications:


  1. Experience working with HVAC contractors is strongly desired.
  2. Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications.
  3. Ability to work in a team environment and be willing to participate.
  4. Ability to function at an above-average level in a technical environment.
  5. Prior experience using sales and/or inventory management systems.

Requirements:


  1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  2. Experience managing in a B2B environment in distribution or wholesale sales preferred.
  3. Excellent relationship-building skills; must be a team builder as well as a team player with a focus on sales.
