We are seeking a creative and motivated Carbon Products Analyst, to contribute to developing and providing carbon products to serve carbon markets. Position Scope: Reporting to the Solutions Development Specialist, this is a role whose responsibilities include research and analysis of markets, market systems, companies, and industries in support of carbon product development efforts with support to business development activities and support of gathering input data for life cycle analysis estimations. - Provide support for product development efforts, with a focus on research and monitoring of compliance and voluntary carbon markets. - Assist in the quality assurance of data that verifiers will use to issue carbon removal certificates and validate the carbon intensity of 1PointFive’s fuel products. - Coordination across 1PointFive’s teams to support effective engagement with product purchasers, including interacting with 1PointFive’s technical and business development teams to ensure integrity and consistency of information. Responsibilities: The responsibilities for the Carbon Products Analyst will include monitoring the development of compliance markets around the globe with an eye on ensuring that 1PointFive’s products are given recognition and value for their high durability characteristics, supporting the Solutions Development Specialists and Technology Development Engineers, managing the inflow of business-related inquiries, and gathering appropriate market/client data to streamline strategic planning processes for 1PointFive’s product and business development teams. This role includes the following: · Monitor and analyze developments in compliance and voluntary carbon markets with a special emphasis on impacts to 1PointFive’s products, including market value and positioning · Support the effort to standardize methodologies across compliance and voluntary carbon markets · Maintain the team’s document library for key messaging, consultation responses and position papers · Support the drafting of scopes of work for contracts with carbon verification and project validation bodies · Perform research and gather data on markets for 1PointFive’s products and services, including regulatory and voluntary carbon markets, low carbon fuels markets and global policy support for decarbonization more broadly · Analyze market data, present findings, and provide timely support to aid in business development pursuits and corporate development efforts · Research and develop competitive intelligence about leads, suspects, and prospects · Develop presentations, support preparing material for proposals
