OVERVIEW:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Information Technology Manager manages and directs NHHA’s information technology (IT) operations, ensuring efficient and effective technical support service, within the healthcare arena. The IT Manager manages all IT projects, ensures data remains secure, and maintains the IT infrastructure for entities associated with NHHA. The Information Technology Manager works closely with the operations team to ensure that NHHA is using the most up-to-date technology and that the hardware and software used by the organization is compatible, secure, and scalable. The IT Manager is responsible for managing the internal network and providing support for our staff ensuring that all IT needs are met in a timely manner.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Leads development and implementation processes for the organizations IT systems, various attached entities, and subsequent departments.
  2. Coordinates multisite IT systems.
  3. Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors, service providers, and manages procurement processes.
  4. Direct the activities of the help desk to ensure the IT needs of users are met.
  5. Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components.
  6. Develops and implements continuity protocols to minimize disruption to operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
  7. Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
  8. Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
  9. Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
  10. Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
  11. Ensures compliance with regulations, HIPAA, and follows best practices.
  12. Manage development projects to integrate innovative technologies into existing systems.
  13. Performs other related duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  2. Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems.
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and ability to quickly ascertain solutions to various IT-related issues.
  4. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  5. Experience in a startup environment is preferred.
  6. Adept in conveying technical operations in simple terms and synthesizing information from various sources.
  7. Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management.
  8. Understanding of healthcare and HIPAA compliance.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  10. Excellent organizational skills and diligence.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management.
  3. Prior Healthcare experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
