A Los Angeles based alternative investments firm is looking to hire an Executive Assistant who will support the Principal of the firm. To be considered for the role, applicants will need to have had >2 years of recent executive assistant experience working at a private equity manager or a hedge fund manager. Candidates should have a baseline understanding of private equity, hedge funds, and their service providers. The ideal candidate will have 2-10 years of alternative investments administrative experience.
This exciting role is a unique opportunity. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for many different tasks related to the administration, operations, and marketing of the business, and will have the opportunity to broaden their skillset in an intellectual environment. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have a strong work ethic, be proficient in Excel and communications platforms such as Zoom and Teams, and be ready to work in a compliance focused environment with confidential information. This full time hybrid position is based in Century City, Los Angeles.
Responsibilities
- Book meetings with multiple attendees using Teams, Zoom, or in person
- Maintain calendars
- Organize travel
- Establish email communications between numerous financial counterparties
- Log and file documents
- Organize documents and reports
- Proofread reports
- Collate market data
- Conduct company research
- Manage digital marketing
- Data entry
- Manage database and client portal
- Order and mail annual gifts
- Other executive and personal assistance to the Principal
Prerequisite Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Prior experience in administrative role at a private equity fund or a hedge fund required
- 2-10 years of administrative assistant experience required
- Strong written communication skills
- Skilled in Apple software
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
- Skilled in Mailchimp
- Skilled in LinkedIn company pages

Compensation
DOE ranging from $70,000-$90,000
PTO
