Position Summary:
The Program Director at Goshen Community Services (GCS) is responsible for the overall management and success of the foster care program. This leadership position involves overseeing staff, ensuring compliance with state regulations, developing program goals, and maintaining high-quality services for all clients. The Program Director will also collaborate with external agencies and organizations to enhance the services provided to children, families, and individuals under GCS care. This role is critical to ensuring the well-being and permanency of children in foster care while maintaining the organization's mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the foster care program, including staff supervision, program development, and service delivery.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of program staff to ensure that high-quality services are consistently provided.
• Develop and implement program goals and objectives that align with GCS's mission and vision.
• Ensure compliance with Nebraska 391 NAC regulations and maintain high standards of care for all clients.
• Provide leadership and guidance to foster care staff, fostering a culture of support and professional growth.
• Ensure that all clients receive individualized services and support tailored to their unique needs.
• Collaborate with external agencies, organizations, and community partners to enhance service offerings and client support.
• Monitor program performance and outcomes, and provide regular reports to the Executive Director.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders involved in the foster care program, including state agencies, families, and legal entities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director to ensure program success and organizational growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in child welfare, foster care, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of Nebraska 391 NAC regulations and demonstrated experience in ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage staff and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work with a diverse population and address the unique needs of clients and families with care, empathy, and professionalism.
• Proven track record in program management, including goal setting, performance evaluation, and staff supervision.
