We are seeking a Wealth Planning Associate to join our growing team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is passionate about finance and looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. The Wealth Planning Associate will assist clients in making informed financial decisions while supporting senior advisors in delivering what GK is known for, exceptional service. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to grow, joining our diverse, well-established and growing company. Salary is commensurate with experience in the $65-$75K base range alongside other competitive benefits and bonuses.
This role is 100% in office 5 days/week, 8am-5pm.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advocate for our Financial Advisors and partner with them to meet the needs of our clients
- Maintain client records and update financial plan as needed
- Respond to client inquiries and provide general support as needed
- Conduct research on market trends, investment opportunities and financial products
- Complete monthly and quarterly tasks as well as work on ad hoc projects as needed
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
- Embraces change by keeping an open mind to new ideas, and readily adjusts to new or changing processes.
- Bachelors Degree in finance, economics, business or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Services
- Financial Securities Licensing Preferred, (Series 63, Series 7)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong knowledge of MS Office programs
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality while being professional and poised
- Team player willing to help and learn from others
