Head of School

Mighty Oak Academy, a part of the community development non-profit Love City, is looking for a Head of School. Mighty Oak is a community school located in the West End of Louisville, KY. Started during the pandemic, MOA is now in its 4th year. We are looking for a dynamic leader to:

1. Continue to lay a solid foundation of the DNA of how MOA approaches school in community including behavior, academics, social emotional learning, and teaching methodology.
2. Develop and work toward the vision of diapers to graduation, acorns to oaks, assisting in the creation of every part of that vision from creating the pre-school to building out a middle and upper school campus as well as building partnerships with career training and universities to further students’ dreams.
3. Build the core of a whole family approach to education, realizing that healthy and stable homes allow for healthy and stable kids that are free to dream big and facilitate the accreditation of the school.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
