Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in healthcare human resources? Consider joining the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology, Ltd. (MCN). We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to join our Administration team based in our beautiful Golden Valley location.

An essential member of senior leadership, the Director of Human Resources serves as a key advisor to the Executive Director, Clinic President, Board of Directors, and other leaders. This position provides strategic leadership on long range planning as well as makes recommendations and provides input on HR initiatives, systems, policies, and programs impacting shareholders, employees, and the overall practice.

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for HR services including:

  1. Recruitment/onboarding
  2. Employee development and recognition
  3. Benefits and compensation
  4. HR policy and analytics
  5. Affirmative Action/DEI
  6. Workplace culture
  7. Employee relations and safety

Additionally, the role includes developing/delivering presentations at monthly Board of Directors and leadership meetings, providing regular staff communications and updates, and serving as a resource on questions pertaining to employment laws and regulations. The Director supervises the HR Generalist and Credentialing Specialist.

Position Requirements:

Successful candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in human resources or a related discipline; a master's degree and HRCI or CHHR certification are desirable. Candidates will ideally have seven to ten years of strategic HR leadership in a healthcare organization, specifically in a private practice environment. Must be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, demonstrated leadership competencies, and solid presentation skills. We seek candidates with strong business acuity, the ability to empower and develop people, and the capacity to exercise a high degree of initiative, discretion, and decision-making. Proficiency with HRMS technology and willingness to perform and carry out day-to-day HR operations is essential.

This position is based in Golden Valley and includes some travel to other Clinic sites throughout the Twin Cities area.
