Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for Solar Installers at Spreck Energy Inc. in Alamo, CA. Solar Installers will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar power systems, utilizing power tools and hand tools to ensure efficient solar energy production.

*Responsibilities: *
- Follow the direction of the crew Foreman on installing solar panels and battery back up systems
- Commission solar systems
- Ensure all installations meet industry standards and regulations and adheres to approved AHJ plan/design
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with solar energy systems
- Planning the layout of solar panels based on the specific job site and customer needs
- Preparing all components of the photovoltaic system, including the brackets and panels
- Attaching the system to the designated structure, often the building’s roof
- Connecting the equipment to the building’s electrical system
- Testing the system
- Documenting details of the installation
- Following regulations and safety protocols
- Maintaining solar equipment after it’s installed
Qualifications
- Solar Power and Solar Systems knowledge
- Experience with Power Tools and Hand Tools
- Understanding of the Solar Industry
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Certification in solar installation is a plus
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in lineside taps
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols
- Familiarity with commercial electrician practices
- Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proficiency in working on roofs and using proper safety equipment

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Some Overtime Required
