Description of the role:
As a Pick-up/Delivery Driver at Michael Hohl Chevrolet GMC Cadillac in Carson City, Nevada, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles and any related materials. This role plays a critical part in supporting the daily operations of the dealership and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and retrieve vehicles as directed, ensuring timely and accurate transportation.
- Inspect vehicles for any damages or issues prior to transportation and report any findings.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Coordinate with dealership staff to ensure efficient scheduling and logistics.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in a similar role, such as a delivery driver, is preferred.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of traffic and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Reliable and punctual.
