A renowned Hospital in Santa Fe area is actively interviewing for a new Hospital Pharmacist!

This acclaimed 200+ bed Level III Trauma center is looking for a Hospital Pharmacist to join it’s dedicated team. The Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist will support this district hospital’s pharmaceutical efforts. This Hospital specializes in a broad range of patient care such as trauma, robotics, open heart and colorectal surgery. The Hospital provides more than 300,000 residents of north-central New Mexico with access to over 40 services and lines of specialty care.

The Hospital Pharmacist will be reporting directly to an experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Manager and works alongside other experienced Pharmacists at the inpatient facility. The Hospital Pharmacist will be at the center of a dynamic cohort of Pharmacists to address patient needs and provide continuous quality care.

The Inpatient Pharmacist will work alongside a team of accomplished Physicians, tenured Nurse Practitioners and supportive Pharmacist’s. The Hospital Pharmacist will support inpatient, ambulatory, cancer and orthopaedic patients. A strong, seasoned Acute Care Pharmacist with Inpatient experience will surely earn a quick interview. Within this role, the Hospital Pharmacist will continue to monitor the patient's progress and evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of the patient's medication. By working with a great team of physicians and nurses the team will create a care plan to serve acute care patients. The Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist will assess a patient's health problems and identify whether the medications are meeting the patient’s needs. The Hospital Pharmacist will serve as an expert for the healthcare team including Nurses, to provide Drug and Treatment Education. The Clinical Pharmacist will perform other duties as assigned such as inventory management, drug utilization reviews, participate in staff meetings, collaborate with patient care teams, and provide optimal patient care and family service
