We are looking for a highly experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should embody the following qualities: strong leadership and communication skills, a passion for creativity and learning, the ability to teach and manage a team independently, and exceptional attention to detail regarding cleanliness, organization, and consistency.
Some of the responsibilities include tracking inventory and ordering supplies, managing daily preparation of menu items, scheduling staff to ensure there is sufficient coverage during each shift, and monitoring the flow of business during each meal service. Our ideal candidate has at least three years of industry experience, including supervisory roles, and is reliable and trustworthy.

Job Title: Restaurant General Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff
- Create employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing at all times
- Handle paperwork and other administrative duties
- Maintain stock levels and order supplies when necessary
- Manage the budget and keep relevant statistical and financial records
- Ensure that the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Handle complaints, conflicts, questions, and suggestions from restaurant patrons and employees
- Communication and collaboration with owner, vendors, bookkeepers and other stakeholders
- Assistance with miscellaneous office functions, as needed
- Reports and projects, as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a restaurant with at least 2 years in supervisory roles
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to work a flexible schedule
SKILLS:
- Motivated, organized, able to multi-task, accurate, detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Team player with the ability to work with multiple players
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
