Your Role: As a Rare Reagents Production Technician 1, you are responsible for creating product components that are used in the manufacture of diagnostic testing kits. You will perform routine assignments within established procedures and practices in a commercial manufacturing laboratory. The Rare Reagents department creates liquid bulks, purified antibodies, and polymerase chain reaction reagents used in the production of food borne pathogen detection kits. Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am- 2:30pm (flexible) Possess a high attention to detail, able to ensure the quality of your work Required to follow company guidelines for personal protective equipment use, good lab practices, and relevant ISO procedures Who You Are: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Biological sciences (e.g., Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biology, etc.) 1+ years' experience in a production environment Preferred Qualifications: Production laboratory experience Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to follow written instructions and accurately complete batch records 1+ year experience with data recording and verification Cell culture experience Pay Range for this position - $39,100 - $117,300 Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data.
