JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of the CHDO Essential Housing program in the Austin, TX market. The Project Specialist is a driven, proactive, and a critical thinking individual who will partner with the team to assist with the review and determination of eligibility for the CHDO program. This position will be a long-term temporary position, due to alignment with implementation of this program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Evaluate new and existing residents to determine eligibility for CHDO program
  • To use the telephone professionally and effectively for leasing.
  • To greet, show, and lease to qualified prospects.
  • To thoroughly understand the daily, weekly and monthly leasing traffic reports.
  • To coordinate move-in dates with the Community Manager.
  • To thoroughly understand and abide by all Fair Housing Laws.
  • To achieve and maintain an average closing ratio of 50% or better.
  • To maintain a working relationship with a referral agencies including businesses and merchants
  • Set up folders and checklists
  • Complete internal checklist and update needs throughout the onboarding process
  • Track all incoming data and file accordingly
  • Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS + ABILITIES:
  • Property management experience preferred
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of Entrata
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Detail oriented, organized, and thorough
  • Collaborates well with team members
  • Effective and efficient time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with high initiative, flexibility, and team approach to work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude
This is a Long Term, Temporary position to support a project which is expected to conclude in June 2025. The length of the assignment is not guaranteed and may end earlier or later than anticipated.
BENEFITS:
Associates who are regularly scheduled for and work 30 hours or more per week are eligible for company-sponsored benefits the 1st day of the month, following completion of 30 continuous days of employment.
