Director, Technology
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director, Technology shall lead the technology teams, technological maintenance, development, advancement, and innovation strategy for Valley 's core technology infrastructure, including Telecommunications and Unified Communications systems. In collaboration with the Chief Information Officer and other members of the organization, will lead system evaluation, selection, and implementation projects for core infrastructure technologies, seeking to drive efficiencies for Valley 's core infrastructure, supporting the enhancement of patient care outcomes and operations, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and adherence to operating budgets.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science or technology required. Master 's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
The Director, Technology shall have at least 10 years of experience with core network technology (switches, routers, fiberoptic networking, etc.), data centers, servers, operating systems, analytics platforms, email systems, security systems, database management systems, virtual technologies, cloud computing options, and other information technologies. Demonstrated experience managing large technology infrastructures across multiple physical locations. Demonstrated experience of at least 7 years, leading technology and telecommunications teams.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Knowledge of hospital operations preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of evaluation, selection, implementation, management, optimization, cybersecurity, overall system quality, and meeting organizational needs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to successfully work with all levels of leadership and staff.
