ETL Data Analyst

Our client is currently seeking a Data Analyst

This position is hybrid to downtown Chicago

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SQL
• Expertise in Data Warehousing
• Strong skills in Data Modelling and Design
• Experience in financial services/banking

Responsibilities:

• Utilize strong SQL and data warehouse concepts in a hands-on data warehouse environment.
• Write complex SQL queries to analyze and profile datasets, identifying patterns and recommending solutions based on data analysis.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, quickly identifying design-related concerns.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and business partners to gather data requirements.
• Work independently with a strong understanding of existing data models and ETL processes.
• Provide data flow diagrams, table structures, and ETL specifications, including transformation rules for source-to-target mapping.
• Identify ETL dependencies and orchestrate the sequence of data loads in the ETL pipeline.
• Guide the production support team on unforeseen issues and ETL abends.
