JOB SUMMARYThe Supply Chain Services Tech I performs key primary supply distribution roles in Supply Chain Services and throughout the facility. This person maintains responsibility for ensuring consistent and accurate delivery of supplies to the facility department areas and engages in Perpetual Inventory maintenance and documentation. This person will perform other necessary Supply Chain Services distribution roles and responsibilities as assigned.JOB DETAILSEntry level positionShift: M-F from 8AM-5PM (weekends off)Prefers candidates to live near Baylor Scott & White Hospital Round Rock (100 Medical Parkway, Lakeway, 78738)Preferred experience: Warehouse, Supply Chain, Customer Service/Customer RelationsCompensation: $15/hr(DOE)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEPerforms par replenishment functions in an efficient and timely way.Performs consistent and timely delivery of products to facility departments.Performs all replenishment and distribution processes within the Lawson System with accuracy and attention to detail.Maintains orderly and organized work area to help efficient processes and staff cross-training opportunities.Maintains ownership of supply par inventory volume trends and makes adjustments as directed by appropriate Supply Chain Supervisor/Manager/Director.Checks supplies for condition of products, correct catalog numbers, quantities, expiration dates, and sizes of items.Enters par replenishment information accurately in the Lawson System. Processes and resolves all necessary Lawson Issues/Returns accurately.Ensures accurate tracking of supply data such as back-orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, lot numbers, etc. as needed.Engages in problem-solving processes to ensure accuracy of perpetual inventory Quantities-on-Hand, performs perpetual inventory cycle counts and ensures accurate Quantities-on-Hand in par replenishment areas.Performs all necessary patient-charging functions as instructed by SCS Supervisor/Manager/Director.KEY SUCCESS FACTORSBasic communication skills.Basic PC and math skills.Ability to operate handling equipment including hand-trucks, pickers, pallet jacks, and other powered warehouse equipment.6 months relevant experience.BENEFITSOur competitive benefits package includes the followingImmediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%Tuition ReimbursementPTO accrual beginning Day 1Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or levelQUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION - H.S.
