Position Summary and Responsibilities
- Create, develop and implement algorithms and data structures within sophisticated embedded products to improve signal fidelity; provide solutions for industries such as serial data communications, signal integrity, and communications.
- Learn in-depth product functionality and design levels.
- Work in a team environment to debug, diagnose and fix various software issues reported by customers; develop software applications/features for different products.
- Publish and patent research results.
Products are built on sophisticated object-oriented software programming techniques utilizing technologies such as ActiveX, WTL/ATL/COM, GDI toolset, DirectX, WDK, WDF. C++ is the primary programming language.
Qualifications
- Must be skilled in 2 of 3:
- C++ programming
- Electronics, linear systems, and DSP
- Applied Math
- BSEE or equivalent; MSEE a plus.
- Working experience of C++ programming and Python.
- Demonstrable knowledge of linear systems theory, DSP, and transforms (Fourier, Laplace, z).
- Strong applied math skills – specifically linear algebra and numerical analysis.
- Knowledge of digital and analog hardware electronics.
- Passion for quality and be a proactive thinker.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
