Senior Influencer Marketing Specialist (US - Contract)


Salary/Hourly Rate:


$37 - $47 per hour


Onsite/Remote:


This is a hybrid role in West Hollywood, CA; candidates will be required onsite 2-3 days per week.

Expedia Group is expanding its Influencer Marketing team and is seeking a full-time contractor to play a pivotal role in driving impactful, full-funnel campaigns across our leading brands: Expedia, Vrbo, and Hotels.com. This position is based in Los Angeles and reports to the Director of Influencer Marketing (based in New York). This is a 12-month temporary assignment .


Responsibilities of the Senior Influencer Marketing Specialist :


  • Help scale and formalize the global influencer strategy and execution across Expedia’s portfolio, managing high-impact campaigns in support of new influencer-centric product, Travel Shops
  • Collaborate with global markets to deliver flawless, on-brand execution of influencer campaigns, especially in support of global expansion and product releases
  • Drive significant results through influencer partnerships, focusing on conversions and traffic and building community with Gen Z
  • Shape and innovate affiliate marketing strategies, working closely with the Director of Influencer Marketing to boost app downloads, member sign-ups, and conversions
  • Enhance talent management processes, particularly within the Expedia Group Ambassador Program, ensuring top-tier influencer engagement
  • Develop and refine channel-level reporting, aligning outcomes with key marketing goals and sharing insights across the organization
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and solve challenges, enabling the delivery of award-winning campaigns
  • Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members, covering all aspects of influencer campaign execution, including integrity vetting, content approvals, pricing, and negotiation


Qualifications of the Senior Influencer Marketing Specialist :


  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A minimum of 3+ years in influencer marketing with a strong track record in growth-centric campaigns
  • Due to the global nature of our influencer team, you must be willing to work outside of non-standard working hours to accommodate critical meetings with those in EMEA and APAC
  • Exceptional project management skills with a talent for navigating complex stakeholder environments
  • Creative, resourceful, and adept at crafting content that drives engagement and starts conversations
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate and negotiate talent contracts
  • Deep understanding of social media optimization and influencer trends
  • A genuine enthusiasm for travel, sports, and music is a plus
  • Adaptable and constructive when facing change, with a knack for simplifying complexity and driving process efficiencies
  • High attention to detail, ensuring excellence in all aspects of your work
