JOB SUMMARY:

As team lead, you will be responsible for the planning and supervision of replacement and troubleshooting of existing car wash equipment. As well as scheduling, supervising, and offering support to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Techs on any preventative and/or corrective maintenance of car wash equipment at BLISS Car Wash and Full-Service Car Wash locations, in coordination with the Head of the Department. Scheduling will vary based on needs or demand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine inspections of car wash, support equipment and accessories, including troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems.
  • Run equipment through "cycles" to ensure the complete system is functioning properly.
  • Advise and schedule recommended replacement of worn or damaged parts/systems.
  • Provide information and training to Field Technicians regarding proper operation and general maintenance of equipment.
  • Management of field technician’s fleet.
  • Management of SRT (Site Reporting Tool) and dispatching of work orders.
  • Management and assistance on implementation of any reporting tool for Preventive Maintenance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment changes or modification through various resources such as maintenance manuals, service bulletins and courses facilitated by Bliss.
  • Complete work orders, expense reports, and gas reports.
  • Comply with all applicable OHSA, ESA, and other provincial regulatory laws, as well as company safety policies.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Head of the Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Availability to drive up to 8 hours a day.
  • 3 years of experience on carwash plumbing and mechanical.
  • Good troubleshooting, problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge and proper use of small and large hand tools.
  • Basic computer and networking skills.
  • Ability to learn through manufacturers training, manuals, service bulletins, or self-motivated research.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Uphold the company's vehicle and personnel policies.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Neat, clean, professional appearance.
  • Follow and retain instructions and training.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make quality control and efficiency decisions.
