Forensic Technology, a LeadsOnline company, is the pioneer of automated ballistic identification, and the creator of IBIS (Integrated Ballistic Identification System) technology used in over 80 countries to combat and prevent firearm crime.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing the Asia Sales Region and Australia (excluding India). You will also be responsible for executing sales strategies that consider all Forensic Technology’s released products and services, and which maximize the company’s revenues and brand in the region.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Drive opportunities for all product and service offerings to Law Enforcement organisations at the National, State / Provincial and local levels within the Asia territory.
  2. Successfully generate, negotiate and close opportunities whilst delivering on profit objectives.
  3. Provide customers with an awareness of different business models that may facilitate their buying decisions, such as HaaS and PaaS.
  4. Work with the full spectrum of decision makers to align customer budget and delivery expectations.
  5. Advocate on behalf of the customer and be the customer voice within the organisation to align the organisation to customer expectations and further enhance the customer experience.
  6. At minimum, deliver on FTLO’s revenue and profitability targets to grow the business in the region.
  7. Create and present compelling business case documentation to respond and align to individual customer expectations/requirements.
  8. Provide on-site demos using product simulators.
  9. Establish and maintain superior relationships with customers at all organizational levels.
  10. Establish the need, coordinate and plan for Workshops and webinars to increase awareness and products/services knowledge.
  11. Ability to juggle multiple accounts; maintain a solid pipeline of sales opportunities; manage and secure large clients.
  12. Deliver timely and accurate sales information.
  13. Monitor and report on midstream changes in market conditions, and timely presentation of resulting product response plans.
  14. Provide input to FTLO’s Marketing team on product and market requirements.
  15. Recruit intermediaries where necessary and manage accordingly to meet corporate policies.
  16. Generate Business Plans along with intermediaries to build, monitor and control opportunities pipeline.
  17. Partner with the Sales Operations team to prepare proposals and negotiate pricing as well as Terms and Conditions.
  18. Enforce and follow Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policies.

Key Leadership Competencies:

  1. Highly desirable: Market knowledge and presence within Forensic Science, Law Enforcement and/or Public Safety.
  2. Experience with the Senior Level Government sector (B2G) and Business to Business (B2B) selling advanced technology products.
  3. Have a Customer and Marketing shared focus.
  4. Work well under pressure and build strong team/relationships to manage customer expectations.
  5. Demonstrates experience and knowledge of working within multi-cultures (understanding of cultural variances across different markets/audience).
  6. Ability to self-motivate and sustain the passion and desire to win whilst managing long sales cycles.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Proven experience in a Sales or Business Development role.
  2. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written. English is a must.
  3. Law enforcement and government agency experience highly desirable.
  4. Experience in Government Bid & Tender processes.
  5. Experience in nurturing senior executive and political level relationships.
  6. Demonstrated experience achieving sales targets and generating growth.
  7. Maintains high ethical standards.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  9. Experience in proposing advance technology solutions.
  10. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audience.
  11. Customer focused – the ability to manage and be responsible for high profile customers.
  12. Demonstrated skills in managing a multitude of complex projects and ability to prioritize accordingly.
  13. Proven ability to work through conflict, build trust and influence outcomes through outstanding interpersonal skills at all levels.
  14. Strategic thinker, who recognizes business opportunities and their potential impact on the overall business.
  15. High energy level. Results-driven.
  16. Circa 30 to 50% of your time will be spent travelling within the territory.
