Camp Potawatomi is a traditional overnight Summer Camp, Outdoor Education and Retreat Center. The Camp Program Director will be responsible for overseeing all camp programs including budget, recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation, program development, and marketing. Our season begins in April and ends in October each year. The winter months are used for projects, planning, and preparation. We are looking for a person who has camp leadership experience, is a team player, views this position as a vital part of the camp experience, and is passionate about developing others.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 25 or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Related Experience.
- Experience/Skills: Minimum of 3 years of overnight camping experience.
- Experience in staff management and leading others.
- Knowledge or ability to gain knowledge in the following programs: Equestrian, Lifeguard, Rifles, Archery, Scuba, Snorkeling, High Ropes.
