About The Job

The Partnerships Senior Software Product Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our partnerships by embodying the product vision, facilitating communication between teams, aligning business objectives, supporting Software execution, managing stakeholder communications, and ensuring quality of delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams, and a strong focus on quality and execution.

Responsibilities

  1. Facilitating Partnership Requirements: Act as a liaison between the Bose Software Product Management team and the partnerships team to ensure that platform/product requirements from the partnerships team are accurately represented and prioritized on the Software roadmaps. This involves regular communication with the partnerships team to understand their needs, and working with the Software Product Management team to ensure these needs are addressed in the product roadmap.
  2. Aligning First and Third-Party Products Objectives: Collaborate with the research team and the partnerships team to ensure alignment between the business objectives of our first and third-party products. This includes understanding the innovation roadmap, ensuring that innovation lands at the right time with the right experience for both first and third-party products.
  3. Supporting SW Execution for Third Party Programs: Work closely with the engineering team and the partnerships team to ensure committed Software requirements for third party programs are executed on time and with the right experience. This involves regular communication with both teams, tracking progress, and addressing any issues or roadblocks that may arise.
  4. Managing Stakeholder Communications: Regularly update all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, on the progress of third-party programs, any changes to the roadmap, and any potential issues or roadblocks. This includes creating and sharing regular status updates and participating in meetings with stakeholders.
  5. Ensuring Quality of Delivery: Collaborate with the quality assurance and engineering teams to ensure that the Software delivered for third party programs meets the highest quality standards. This includes reviewing test plans, participating in quality assurance testing, and addressing any issues or defects that are identified.
Primary Qualifications

About You

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software product management, preferably with a focus on partnerships or third-party programs.
  3. Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
  4. Adept at strategizing and executing software strategies in complex environments.
  5. Mastery in Effective Communication: Ability to translate complex software jargon into comprehensible insights for various stakeholders.
  6. Previous experience working with external partners and managing third party programs.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and manage stakeholder communications.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and deliver on commitments.
  9. Experience in aligning product roadmaps with business objectives and ensuring innovation lands at the right time with the right experience.
  10. Familiarity with quality assurance processes and the ability to ensure delivery of high-quality software.
Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in building ecosystems for big tech software products. This includes understanding the complexities and challenges associated with building ecosystems and the ability to navigate and manage these challenges.
The ideal candidate for the Partnerships Senior Software Product Manager role will have a strong background in software product management with a focus on partnerships and third-party programs. They will have a strong understanding of software development processes, be able to work collaboratively with multiple teams, manage stakeholder communications, and ensure quality of delivery. Experience in aligning product roadmaps with business objectives and building ecosystems for big tech software products is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
