Essential functions


General duties:

  1. Equipment testing and readiness responsibility – confirm/request technical assistance when necessary.
  2. Submit order(s) for Studio blank apparel, equipment consumable supplies, general office supplies.
  3. Assist in Trade Show prep and display content / items.
  4. Serve as a concierge to key clients and visiting vendor executives . This service may include valet services to/from airport, hotel(s), restaurants. Overall Studio cleanliness, presentation, stocking snacks/beverages, etc.


Presentation / Sales Demo:

  1. ALL equipment should be staged and “start button” ready for demonstration for every customer experience.
  2. Coordinate /schedule on-site & virtual visits, via Studio Outlook calendar.
  3. Make sure all areas are neat, organized and prepared for tailored customer experience whenever possible.


Projects / Samples / Sales follow up:

  1. Manage existing procedures for Project/Samples requests.
  2. Log and maintain project completions – including report presentations.
  3. Monthly sales analysis report on Studio “client opportunities”.
  4. Develop “Sales Samples Kits” (of all decoration applications) – (annually).


Training / Applications:

  1. Develop an in-person applications training course(s) and matching online curriculum.
  2. Contribute to marketing content and build a library of customer facing resources…i.e.: basic machine operations and simple maintenance / repairs; Themed “How To” videos; updates on products/model types.

Physical demands

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Speak clearly so listeners can understand.
  • Understand the speech of another person.


Position type and expected hours of work — Full time position, general working hours are 8am to 5pm weekdays with some weekend or overtime requirements when customer visits, projects or workload dictates.


Travel — Overnight travel requirement will be minimum and infrequent, but could include trade show participation, customer event, or special circumstances that could arise.


Required education and experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in office administration or related experience in Apparel Decorating field a strong plus.
  • At least three years (or equivalent) of administrative and clerical experience required.
  • Embroidery experience in a commercial, art or high-end decorating environment
  • Knowledge and ability to operate Tajima embroidery or similar equipment
