Job Description:

As a Customer Service Representative at our Fargo Southpointe Office, you play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service. You'll support customers with various financial transactions and serve as a source of knowledge, educating them on an array of bank products and services. This aligns with Gate City Bank's Mission and Principles of High Standards to help individuals achieve their personal financial goals.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: a variety of shifts 9:30AM-6:30PM

  • Rotating Saturdays: 8:45AM-12:15PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct basic transactions accurately and efficiently, covering Deposits, Withdrawals, and Loan Payments/Payoffs

  • Maintain accountability for the cash drawer, including balancing currency, coin, and checks

  • Demonstrate an eye for detail, ensuring a high degree of accuracy in processing transactions.

  • Address fundamental customer inquiries both in-person and over the phone.

  • Create a welcoming environment by promptly greeting customers and providing a standout customer service experience.

  • Facilitate the opening of various new accounts and educating customers on available services/products.

  • Reliable and punctual attendance is vital to meet our expected service levels.

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Prior customer service experience, cash handling experience, and/or sales experience preferred

  • Effective communication

  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with a team
