Staff Accountant

About the Position
Conduit Power is on a path to supplement our Nation's power generation system with reliable and dispatchable generation in ways that reduces carbon footprint and accelerates the transition to clean, renewable energy.
We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to joinour dynamic team at Conduit Power. In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining financial integrity and providing strategic support within the finance department. Working closely with the Controller & Assistant Controller and other members of management, you will support various aspects of general accounting and financial reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information.
Responsibilities include:

• Accounting Operations:
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities such as full-cycle accounts payable processing, customer invoicing and accounts receivable, month-end close processes, and general ledger maintenance for multiple entities.
• Manage expense/credit card reporting process utilizing Expensify
• Assist with development and optimization of Netsuite functionality to scale with Company's needs and growth.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Help develop and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as required.
• Treasury Management
• Assist with cash management reporting and forecasting.
• Internal Controls and Compliance:
• Assist in developing and maintaining effective internal control policies and procedures to scale with the organization's development.
• Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Highly proficient to expert-level knowledge/experience with Netsuite required.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google applications.
• Accounting degree and electric power industry experience preferred.
