Job Purpose:
The Night Auditor actsas a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during the nighttimehours including safety related function; performsthe audit as set forth by the property. All overnight staff answers to theNight Audit
Job Responsibilities:

• Promoting safety bybeing alert to observe, correct and report any hazards immediately and ina timely manner.
• Greet guests uponarrival /departure, check them in/ out and provide them with any informationthey need to enjoy their stay.
• Respond to guestinquiries, concerns and complaints as needed and communicate such in the passon.
• Answer phones andplace reservations.
• Perform all auditprocedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, on a daily basis.
• Balance all receiptsand work performed during the audit shift.
• Prepare the frontoffice for the 'A' shift and reset day's business.
• Prepare guest bills for next-day checkouts andprocess reservation cards.
• Verify that all EODwork has been performed by other departments.
• Verify the status ofall wake-up call requests and ensure they are properly handled.
• Write accurate reportsand ensure all tasks are completed.
• Assist with in roomdining order.
• Assist withcleanliness and organization of Front Desk area.
• Assist with otherduties as needed and requested.
Job Skills:
• Handling objects, products, and computer equipment.
• Basic computer skills to operate various propertymanagement and reservations systems, etc.
• Being passionate about people and service.
• Strong communication skills essential wheninteracting with guests and employees.
• Reading and writing abilities are used often whencompleting paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/information updates,etc.
• Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating and trainingabilities are often used.
• Have the ability to work a flexible scheduleweekends and/or holidays.
