**Job Title:** Respiratory Therapist
**Job Specialty:** Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks
**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 – 48 Hours
**Experience:** Minimum 1 year, preferably in pediatrics. First-time travelers considered on a case-by-case basis with at least 3 years of recent experience.
**License:** Pending state license accepted; must be issued prior to start date.
**Certifications:** RRT, BLS, PALS
**Must-Have:** Pediatric experience preferred; open to experienced therapists from other disciplines if qualified.
**Job Description:**
- Handle cases primarily in NICU/PICU settings.
- Work every other weekend as required.
- No on-call responsibilities.
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
- No floating required to sister facilities.
- Open to accommodating block schedules.
- Ability to start within 3-4 weeks of offer.
- Max 1 week of request time off; if 1 full week, must add a week to make up.
- Participate in orientation involving modules.
- Follow a non-smoking policy within the facility.
- Pre-start self-reported modules required prior to orientation.
- Must submit references upon request.
- Comply with COVID-19 and booster vaccination requirements.
**Hospital Highlights:**
- Teaching and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
- 323 inpatient beds, with 70 dedicated to Neonatal ICU
- No age cut-off for patients; may treat any age group.
- Compliance is due prior to start with no pending items.
- Staff who held previous employment must be gone for at least one year to return as a traveler.
- Non-discriminatory patient care in a variety of critical care settings, including NICU, PICU, and CICU.
