JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager III leads high profile enterprise projects supporting CareQuest Institute’s business priorities. The incumbent helps to implement programs and services, creates project plans for new initiatives, participates in strategic planning, and is responsible for tracking performance of enterprise projects. The PM manages the scope of the project, resources, and ensures on-time delivery within budget. The PM seeks input from key stakeholders, manages competing priorities and could be client-facing. The PM must have the ability to motivate team members, drive change, and facilitate problem solving discussions with individuals and leaders across the enterprise.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead high profile, complex, cross-functional projects and enterprise initiatives.
  2. Ability to plan for and develop project plans and tools from business concepts.
  3. Help to facilitate staffing plans, budget plans, and goal setting discussions with leaders to support the business goals of the project.
  4. Manage communication at all levels of organization, including executive leadership, on status of projects.
  5. Seek input from key stakeholders on business projects to effectively drive and manage implementation.
  6. Provide clear and concise documentation that supports the milestones of the project, represents key business decisions made, and obtains sign off from stakeholders.
  7. Identify areas of improvement in existing project related processes, operating mechanisms, and methodologies and work across the organization to implement improvements.
  8. Present and facilitate effective meetings.
  9. Represent CareQuest Institute for Oral Health in a professional manner at all times.
  10. Other duties as needed or required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, Healthcare Management or equivalent experience.
  2. 5 years’ experience in a project-management role, which includes working with leadership.
  3. In depth knowledge of managing business projects and concepts through project management principles.
  4. Ability to manage projects with limited supervision, work well under pressure.
  5. Solid judgment in applying operational strategies to successfully implement business concepts. Outstanding facilitation skills and ability to manage business related discussions, influence key stakeholders, and drive leaders towards decisions.
  6. Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  7. Ability to initiate and drive changes in process, methodology, and other PMO related areas.
  8. Ability to lead and manage resources that do not have a direct reporting relationship.
  9. Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks and projects, and manage competing priorities.
  10. Proficient in using MS Project, SharePoint and other business management tools
  11. Excellent PC Skills.
  12. Knowledge of general MS office computer software.
  13. Attends additional training as requested/deemed necessary.

Preferred:

  1. PMP designation is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  1. Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively.
  2. Manual dexterity and sitting is required in carrying out position own position responsibilities (i.e. use of personal computer).
  3. Ability to travel or move about within and outside serviced facilities required.
  4. Incumbent works primarily in either a private or shared office environment.
