Join our team at AGS as an Air Import Operations Coordinator, where you'll be pivotal in ensuring the timely movement of shipments and maintaining efficient communication with clients and overseas agents. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be instrumental in meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimizing our logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely movement of shipments and communicate any delays or documentation issues to clients and overseas agents.
- Accurately file documents such as invoices, AWB, and shipping statements, verifying merchandise weights or volumes.
- Utilize analytics tools to track and meet KPIs, identifying operational inefficiencies and proposing improvements.
- Organize data using spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) to collaborate internally with warehouse and operations teams for timely fulfillment.
- Perform daily tracing to maintain data accuracy and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and carriers.
- Provide support to fellow associates, supervisors, and department managers as necessary.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of air import operations experience highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive with strong organization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Cargowise is a plus.
- Previous experience in freight forwarding highly preferred.
- Fluent English is required; proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese is a plus.

Schedule: 8-hour shift, 5 days a week (weekends are necessary)
