Job Description

Provides direct administrative oversight to all primary care sites. Seeks to enhance the patient and family experience through the refinement of care coordination and the optimization of workflows. Must possess the ability to consistently interact with all stakeholders in a professional, positive and proactive manner. Strong written and verbal communication, quantitative, and interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

Education & Training: Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent advanced degree is required. In lieu of a Master’s, BS degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration and/or a minimum of ten (10) years health care management experience considered. Stays abreast of industry trends, technology, and innovative approaches to the provision of care and patient outreach.

Work Orientation & Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a physician office or hospital setting required. Primary Care leadership experience preferred. Experience should include exposure to financial management, operations/administration, and marketing.

Skills & Abilities: Excellent quantitative and communication skills required. Ability to (a) problem solve, (b) manage time effectively, (c) work independently and within deadlines, (d) maintain business and patient confidentiality, (e) project a positive image of the organization and its providers, (f) adapt hours and availability to accommodate provider schedules, (g) and motivate positive performance required. Advanced knowledge of practice specific technology, provider billing and reimbursement, provider productivity, scheduling, and practice management preferred.
